Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un bioplastique de plus en plus utilis\u00e9 pour la fabrication d&#8217;emballages et de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.be\/fr_BE\/hygiene-cafetaria\/articles-cafetaria_C7540.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vai<\/a>s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.be\/fr_BE\/hygiene-cafetaria\/articles-cafetaria_C7540.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">selle<\/a> (couverts, tasses, gobelets, etc.). Il est popularis\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son image d\u2019alternative v\u00e9g\u00e9tale au plastique conventionnel (fait de p\u00e9trole). Ci-dessous, nous pr\u00e9senterons les avantages de cette mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re et examinerons ses applications les plus courantes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1. Qu&#8217;est-ce que le PLA ?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comme indiqu\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, PLA signifie acide polylactique, ou <em><strong>P<\/strong>oly<strong>L<\/strong>actic <strong>A<\/strong>cid<\/em> en anglais. En chimie, on l&#8217;appelle &#8220;thermoplastique&#8221;. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un plastique qui se ramollit une fois chauff\u00e9. La grande diff\u00e9rence par rapport aux plastiques traditionnels est la mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re. Le PLA n&#8217;est pas fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de p\u00e9trole brut, mais bien \u00e0 partir d&#8217;une source v\u00e9g\u00e9tale renouvelable. La base est constitu\u00e9e d&#8217;acide lactique obtenu \u00e0 partir de cultures agricoles comme le ma\u00efs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le diagramme ci-dessous nous montre que le PLA repr\u00e9sente un peu plus de 10 % des bioplastiques produits en 2018. D&#8217;ici 2023, ce chiffre pourrait <strong>atteindre 16,2 % <\/strong><sup>1<\/sup>. Les principaux avantages du PLA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #d52f13;\">\u25ba<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #276ef1;\"><strong>Compostable<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De nombreux produits en PLA sont d\u00e9gradables dans des conditions de compostage industriel (\u00e0 partir de +58 \u00b0C) &#8211; des temp\u00e9ratures de compostage bien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es que le compost de votre jardin. Il est donc important que le PLA soit toujours correctement tri\u00e9 et recycl\u00e9 afin de ne pas rester dans l&#8217;environnement plus longtemps qu&#8217;il ne le devrait.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour vous assurer que le bioplastique que vous tenez en mains est compostable, vous devez chercher apr\u00e8s le logo Seedling ou TUV Austria. Vos produits emball\u00e9s restent parfaitement visibles. C&#8217;est souvent un <em>must<\/em> lors de <strong>l&#8217;emballage des aliments<\/strong> afin de montrer l\u2019aspect et la qualit\u00e9 de vos l\u00e9gumes, fruits ou desserts. De plus, un colorant peut \u00eatre ajout\u00e9 au PLA pour le rendre opaque, si n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #d52f13;\">\u25ba<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #276ef1;\"><strong>Flexible<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le troisi\u00e8me avantage majeur ? Sa flexibilit\u00e9 ! Il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour toutes sortes de produits et d\u2019emballage. Les possibilit\u00e9s sont presque infinies. De plus, il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre durci avec l&#8217;ajout de chaux, par exemple. Nous parlons dans ce cas de <strong>CPLA<\/strong>, o\u00f9 le C signifie <strong>cristallis\u00e9<\/strong>. Ce PLA &#8220;cristallis\u00e9&#8221; est opaque et pr\u00e9sente une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la chaleur plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-box su-box-style-glass\" id=\"\" style=\"border-color:#003bbe;border-radius:20px\"><div class=\"su-box-title\" style=\"background-color:#276ef1;color:#FFFFFF;border-top-left-radius:18px;border-top-right-radius:18px\">Les avantages des bioplastiques par rapport aux plastiques traditionnels<\/div><div class=\"su-box-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"border-bottom-left-radius:18px;border-bottom-right-radius:18px\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tout d&#8217;abord, <strong>une \u00e9conomie sur les mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res fossiles<\/strong> &#8211; une mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re limit\u00e9e. Les bioplastiques utilisent, eux, \u00a0une biomasse renouvelable comme le ma\u00efs ou la canne \u00e0 sucre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Deuxi\u00e8me avantage : pendant la croissance, ces plantes absorbent le CO2 et le rejettent en oxig\u00e8ne. Quelles sont les applications du PLA ?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comme le montre la figure ci-dessous, les bioplastiques sont particuli\u00e8rement populaires dans le <strong>secteur de l&#8217;emballage<\/strong> (66 %)<sup>1<\/sup>.
